AN: I’m really sorry about the amount of time it has taken me to actually write this chapter – I had about a page and a half written, when I decided that I was fundamentally unhappy with what I was writing – it was all highly laboured and stylistically self-indulgent. However, I found myself unable to rewrite it, as I had totally lost all inspiration for the story, and most of my interest in the Naruto fandom as a whole.  So this story sat and moulded in my laptop until I recently began to regain something resembling an interest in Naruto, not to mention inspiration for how I wanted this story to develop.

So...wrote an essay on Kantian deontology, translated 21 lines of the Metamorphoses, had an asthma attack, decided not to do any more work this evening and get some writing done instead.

Attempting to do an update of the Status of my fics in the hope that this may inspire me to write more (my ff.net account)
Mahou No Shinobi: Have started Chapter 5, but only a few hundred words so far (have had to scrap the entire beginning of this chapter and start over
Everyone Has Secrets: no progress on the next chapter of this - my muse has gone on strike
Forbidden Son: very little progress on this, but have started the next chapter - unfortunately that was several months ago
Cutthroat Puppets Redux: Have not seen any progress on this at all, partly on account of the fact that there is precious little Virus Buster Serge fanfic out there for me to gain inspiration from!
Also have:
a Hanabi One Shot (Naruto) part done, but have reached a block with that as well!
Part of a Lord of the Rings slash story written, mostly in a note-book that I am typing up
Hoping that my muse can recover in order for some of this to actually get written!

So I have finally managed to join Livejournal - I'm about three years behind the rest of the world, but hey, as long as somebody's happy (somewhere)!
Will try to post my writing up here, but this will mostly be the stuff I'm not allowed to put on ff.net, or extras and stuff - and by the way, am very slow at updating!
